A guided walk in the Birks of Aberfeldy has been arranged for Wednesday 6 July, led by Perth & Kinross Council’s Countryside Rangers, aimed to provide answers to questions about why there is such an extensive range of tree plantings in the famous beauty spot.
Starting from the Town Square at 10am and lasting two hours, the walk will give participants the chance to discover some of the beautiful and unusual trees that are part of the Birks, as well as finding out how efforts are being made to protect and save the rare specimens growing there.
Booking is essential for this event. For further information, and to book your place please call 01738 475349 or email CLOAKING
